Rectangular and square, drawer labels for children to create themselves There are 60 labels in total with 15 different monster poses, ready to be coloured in. You can choose different options. You could go for a label with a monster that needs colouring in and the child can write their own name. Or you can edit the label by typing in the childs name and then letting them colour it in themselves. These drawer labels give the children ownership over their own name cards.

A 12 paged, All about me, booklet to send home. This booklet is topic based so children can use the booklet throughout their time in your class. Send the booklet home with the children, before they start in your class, so they can complete it with their parents over the summer holidays. They are black and white, 1, to save on colour ink and 2, so children can colour in the little pictures. Once children return them they can be laminated so they can last through out the year. A simple, but effective, card for Father’s day. You can make this as simple as you like. You can cut the easy resources out or get the children to do it, depending on the age. They can then either colour the shirt or you can print it onto coloured paper. The children then colour in the tie and stick it to the shirt, which is then placed onto a folded piece of A4 paper. There is then space for the children to write on the front of the card or the A4 card can be trimmed down to fit. There are also inserts which have been differentiated 3 ways.

5 picture cards, one for each group of children. The idea is to get each group to talk about their picture and decide which story they think it’s from. At the end each group announce which story they think it is then show their card to the rest of the class to see if their pictures match up to the story they think it’s from. Ideal start of the day activity.
